Data

Start with what you have — or with nothing at all

Upload geochemical CSVs, drill-hole assays, IP/resistivity, geology maps, lineaments, magnetics, gravity, radiometrics, satellite imagery. No upload is required to begin: OreLens auto-fetches real Sentinel-2 imagery and computes real alteration indices for any area of interest, pulls drainage data, and attaches bundled real geology and structural layers for supported regions.

Structural interpretation

Computer vision on the actual imagery

Six detector classes — faults, lineaments, fractures, alteration halos, geological contacts, gossans — run directly on uploaded or fetched rasters, clipped to the drawn area of interest. The raster calculator's real output is shown as a colored heatmap with its formula, bands, and thresholds disclosed, not abstracted away.

Scoring

Commodity- and region-aware prospectivity

An eight-feature engine — structural proximity, lithology, geochemical anomaly, clay and iron-oxide indices, drainage proximity, intersection density, alteration score — scores and ranks targets per commodity and per region, routing automatically to a customer's own dedicated model once they have enough real data to justify one.

Data interpretation

The "why," not just the number

A narrative layer explains each target — deposit-model framing, structural setting, host lithology, pathfinder geochemistry, historical analogs, and what additional data would sharpen the ranking most — reusing the same underlying numbers as the score, so the story and the number never disagree.

Economic viability & capital allocation

Turns a rank into a budget

Drilling cost is calibrated per commodity from real public per-metre rates and typical hole depth and method — not a flat guess. Given a real budget and a risk-appetite setting, the allocator funds immediate-drill targets first, holds back the uncertain ones, and never allocates to do-not-drill targets, with a transparent priority order rather than a black-box optimizer.

Human review

One deliberate checkpoint, on purpose

Everything above runs unattended. The only required stop is a geologist approving, rejecting, or flagging targets at the end — so nothing upstream waits on a person, but capital commitment always does.

Every score discloses what's real

Every feature behind every rank carries a record of whether it came from a real measured layer this run, or a heuristic baseline standing in for one that wasn't uploaded. Reports name which evidence is real, which is synthetic, and — for anything still synthetic — exactly which upload would move the needle most.

A mineral exploration company can hand an OreLens report to an investor or a board and the report itself says which parts to trust, and how much. That's not a caveat bolted on afterward — it's the same disclosure shown inside the app while a target is still being ranked.
